Beta Version of PokerStars Mac Software Released

PokerStars.net has announced the beta release of their new software, PokerStars for Mac! Previously this version was only available for play money, but now this is a fully operational version of the PokerStars software and allows mac players to play at PokerStars for real money. The Mac PokerStars software is the same as the award winning PokerStars PC software, but runs on the Mac OS. Its amazing that is has taken this long to happen, but this should open up PokerStars for Mac players worldwide which is great news for anyone who is looking for more options for where to play online poker as previously Mac Poker players were somewhat limited (particularly players in the US). The most important thing in online poker is making sure you play at a room where you are comfortable so having more options is always welcome. The software is still in the testing phase, but each version is getting better and better, and it looks like the real version is just around the corner. They have made a number of key upgrades from the last version, and it should only be a matter of time before all Mac users can play for real money on Poker Stars.
